Exe Errors
Computers are loaded
with programs that allow you to perform a variety of
functions from sending emails, surfing the web, doing your
banking, creating documents and reports, playing games, and
more. They are also loaded with system programs that your
computer accesses in order to carry out a variety of
commands in the background. In addition to the programs,
often called “executables”, your computer is loaded with exe
files, device drivers, system files, user preferences,
screensavers, system settings, file allocation tables, BIOS
information, and a registry that keeps track of it all.
To say that a computer
is complicated is an understatement. With all the processes
and information being swapped in nanoseconds, it’s no wonder
more errors don’t occur.
If you computer is
generating .exe errors, you have a big job ahead in trying
to solve them. Windows will usually tell you which program
is having problems in the warning dialogue box however
rarely will Windows tell you how to fix them. On top of
that, many of these executables are unfamiliar to the
average user. You may recognize that an explore.exe error
indicates a problem with Windows Explorer and you’ll see
that Windows will shuts down Explorer as the exe error
occurs but what about strange errors like svchost.exe
errors?
You could try
re-booting the PC or reinstalling an offending program.
These steps occasionally work – for the time being. But if
your .exe errors are starting elsewhere, you’ll be faced
with further problems. Your computer may take forever to
start, your programs may load slowly or refuse to load,
programs freeze and stop responding, and more.
One of the most
effective ways to keep your PC error-free is to catch the
errors at their root, the Windows registry. The registry
keeps track of everything on your PC including where files
are located, device drivers needed for your various
peripherals like printers, user preferences, exe files, font
entries, uninstall entries, shortcuts, file associations,
and much more. Anything that involves anything on your
computer is stored in the registry – even mistakes.
Invalid registry
entries such as an incorrect file association can cause
errors. These errors compound over time as more changes are
made to your system. Soon, your registry can contain
thousands of invalid entries or corrupted items which end up
bogging down your entire system. All kinds of errors,
including .exe errors will occur. As your system crashes,
each crash can cause further file or data corruption
compounding your registry woes. Before you know it, your PC
will barely function.
By cleaning out these
registry errors, you’ll be amazed at your computer’s renewed
performance. Not only will your errors disappear, but your
computer will run like it was designed to. Programs will
open right away, you will be able to interact with the
program, moving from one task to another will occur quickly
– in short, your PC will be fully optimized for performance!
