Problems: Are you having a difficult time opening file
extension 3G2 files? It’s possible that you don’t have the
appropriate program for opening 3G2 files installed on your
PC or that you have a registry-related error. 3G2 files
require a compatible media player such as Apple’s QuickTime
in order to open properly. To rule out a registry error, run

Manual Removal Instructions: To manually remove a 3G2 file,
right-click the Start button and click on Explore to open up
Windows Explorer. On the left, double-click the drive you’d
like to search for 3G2 file extensions. Next, go up to the
Search bar and type in: *.3G2
Windows will search the selected drive for any file ending
with the extension of .3G2. Windows will then display a list
of all 3G2 files found on the drive. Navigate to the
specific 3G2 you’d like to delete. Right-click on the 3G2
file and click on Delete. When asked if you are sure you
want to send the 3G2 file to the Recycle Bin, click on Yes.
Solution/Recommendations: If you are having trouble with the
file extension 3G2 files or applications, make sure you are
running the latest version of the media player software. As
3g2 files become more common, the various media players will
add support for opening them. Updates and patches are often
released adding support for various formats or addressing
known issues with the application.
In addition, 3G2 file corruption and missing 3G2 file
associations can often be linked to registry-related errors.
Because of this, we highly recommend a registry scan to rule
out potential 3G2 file extension problems with the registry
itself.
If you have a 3G2 compatible media player installed on your
PC but are still having trouble opening file extension 3G2
files, go back into Windows Explorer and right-click on the
3G2 file you’d like to open. Click on Open With and then
select Choose Default Program. Windows will display a list
of recommended programs. If your desired media player is
listed, click the appropriate icon. Mark the box that says,
“Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.”
