Problems:
Are you having a difficult time opening file extension UHA
files? It’s possible that you don’t have the appropriate
program for opening UHA files installed on your PC, or
perhaps even the wrong version of the right program. In
addition you may have a registry-related error. UHA files
require UHarc compatible software applications such as
WinUHA in order to open properly. To rule out a registry
error, run our free registry scan.
Manual
Removal Instructions: To manually remove a UHA file,
right-click the Start button and click on Explore to open up
Windows Explorer. On the left, double-click the drive you’d
like to search for UHA file extensions. Next, go up to the
Search bar and type in: *.UHA
This will
tell Windows to search the disk drive for any file ending
with the extension of .UHA. Windows will display a list of
all UHA files found on the appropriate drive. Navigate to
the specific UHA you’d like to delete. Right-click on the
UHA file and click on Delete. When asked if you are sure you
want to send the UHA file to the Recycle Bin, click on Yes.
Solution/Recommendations: If you are having trouble with the
UHA files or applications, make sure you are running the
latest version of the software. In addition, file extension
UHA files can be version specific which may require opening
the file using the same version of the software that the
original file was created in. Updates and patches to various
archivers are often released that address known issues with
the application. In addition, UHA file corruption and
missing UHA file associations can often be linked to
registry-related errors. Because of this, we highly
recommend a registry scan to rule out potential UHA file
extension problems with the registry itself.
If you
have a UHarc-compatible program installed on your PC but are
still having trouble opening UHA files, go back into Windows
Explorer and right-click on the UHA file you’d like to open.
Click on Open With and then select “Choose Default Program.”
Windows will display a list of recommended programs. If
WinUHA or a similar compatible program is listed, click the
appropriate icon. Mark the box that says, “Always use the
selected program to open this kind of file.”
