Manual Removal Instructions: To manually remove a WPD file, right-click the Start button and click on Explore which will launch the Windows Explorer. Find your hard drive located in the list on the left and double-click. Go to the Search bar and type in: *.WPD

Now Windows will search your drive for any file with the file extension wpd and list it. Find the WPD file you want to delete and right-click it. A menu will appear. Click on Delete and answer yes when asked if you are sure you want to send the WPD file to the Recycle Bin.

Solution/Recommendations: If you are having trouble with the WPD files or applications, make sure you are running the latest version of Corel WordPerfect. Check their website for any updates or patches that address known issues with the program. If WordPerfect is listed, click the appropriate icon. To ensure WordPerfect always opens these files, place a check mark in the check box that says, “Always use the selected program to open this kind of file.”
